The Spiders (2022)

This is my newest art featuring my own designs for Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, inspired by their appearances in the comics. My goal was to make it look like a comic book cover.

I intentionally drew them at different points of their swing to hint at their skill level and personality.
- Peter is heroic and confident
- Miles is a little more splayed out and playful
- Gwen is falling with grace and precision

I also tried to incorporate their unique art styles from different media they have appeared in.
- The sunset is inspired by the Spider-Man/Peter Parker game on PlayStation 4/5.
- The screen tones (dots, lines etc) and comic book effect was inspired by Into The Spider-Verse, where Miles is the main character.
- The white light and vibrant colours emanating from the street below was inspired by the cover art for the first issue of the Spider-Gwen comic.
