The Grey

For the past few weeks I've been drawing this, a "Grey", a creature created by KickthePJ for his custom Mothership TTRPG One Shot. It's a slate coloured, floating figure with a large bulbous head, unblinking eyes and it emits lethal amounts of radiation.

I worked super hard on this, I don't usually draw much sci-fi so this was a unique challenge, but I'm happy with the final result! If I had to describe it in one word I would choose "melty" as that was my inspiration for the overall design. The idea that there's so much radiation being emitted from this creature that it's flesh looks like it's melting and its skin is struggling to hold onto its own bones, like a very tender piece of disgusting meat falling away.
